classified as "rice" I was under the impression that rice was tacky-looking japanese mods that can be found in your local pep-boys. Not a factory-produced Nismo version of a Japanese car with a "other than stock" looking body-kit. I also feel like Nissan is trying hard to set something up here, agree? Why not make a car that is race/road course ready in every aspect except for the engine/drivetrain. Yea, they're still charging a shit-load of money for it, but they're alleviating themselves from the problems of high-hp engines. Here Johnny, buy this version of the car, and take it home and drop another $8g's for a turbo/supercharger kit, and you're ready to go! Oh, and when you run into a problem with your "new" engine, bring it back to the dealership and we'll help you fix it. But sorry, we didn't put that turbo in there so you're gonna have to pay for whatever we do. Your warranty covers a stock engine.... Who isn't gonna buy this version and 'F' with the engine? They made it look fast, customer has the option to make it go faster. If I was in the market for a 350z, and I was planning on dropping a turbo in, I'd lean more towards the Nismo model as well....
